Waste is the new resource. As oil, gas and other non renewable
fuels run out, recovering materials and power from waste will
become an important sector of the world economy. We have
traditionally handled a range of waste and mineral extraction
related planning matters. More recently our experience in this
emerging sector includes:

• Obtaining planning permission for one of only 13
  Hazardous Waste sites in the UK, recovering waste
  oil for re-use
  
  
• Early stage planning advice on anaerobic digestion as
  a means to produce energy
  
  
• Initial planning and feasibility work on the conversion of a
  modern factory unit into a waste-to-energy plant.
